Continued awareness for the Lancaster Canal northern reaches development

There have been discussions around the potential to re-connect Lancaster Canal to Kendal. The partnership needs to be aware of these and keep up to date with developments as there could be impacts upon the River Kent i.e. water abstraction from the Kent and the heightened potential for introducing invasive non-native species.
