Widespread bio-security to prevent the introduction and spread of invasive non-native species.
This is ongoing. With a particular focus on the Kent catchment with funding from R4ever Kent and for Grasmere to Rydal, mainly through volunteer efforts. More funding needs to be secured and inter partnership work continued to reduce invasive non-native species and increase bio-security.
