United Utilities are working to improve and increase capacity at Endmoor wastewater treatment works. This works discharges into Peasey Beck, however, the population in Endmoor is forecast to increase by 38% in coming years. Therefore, if work wasn’t undertaken to increase capacity to cope with the increased demands there would be negative impacts on water quality in the beck.
