Deliver the restoring freshwater pearl mussel project in South Cumbria. This project is run by 5 different partners on 5 different catchment in England, South Cumbria Rivers Trust are one of these partners. The project aims to improve habitat for the freshwater pearl mussels to survive and re-produce, potentially facilitating the re-introduction of juveniles held at the Freshwater Biological Association breeding facility. Other aspects include monitoring and widespread education and engagement.
