Part of the Heritage Lottery Funded (HLF) Conserving Coniston and Crake project. Birds, Bats and BIodviersity aims to improve river corridor habitat for birds and bats through the installation of bat and bird boxes to encourage movement of species and provide new roosting locations. Additionally, the develops the wildlife corridor between the Crake and the HLF Rusland Horizons woodlands project.
