Great British Spring Clean River Litter Pick – Saturday 3rd March, Kendal. POSTPONED until Saturday 10th March.
Did you know that 80% of marine litter comes from land? As part of Keep Britain Tidy’s Great British Spring Clean weekend, we are collaborating with Zero Waste Kendal and the Kent Catchment Partnership to run a litter pick along the banks of the River Kent.
John Wright, a member of the Kent Catchment Partnership attended a training course provided by Thames 21 and the Rivers Trust and will kindly be helping to co-ordinate the day.

Meeting at the snack hut at Gooseholme Park, next to Stramongate Weir.
Bags, gloves and litter pickers will be provided. No booking required.
This event is organised by South Cumbria Rivers Trust and Zero Waste Kendal with support from South Lakeland District Council and Natural England.
