Over the last year or so there have been reported sightings of Otters in the Duddon Valley.
In the recent snowfall there are clear Otter tracks to be seen on the snow covered boulders in the river.Anyone else seen any signs, and if so is there any signs that it’s a single Otter or A “population”?

Lovely to hear about otter sightings in the Duddon, and the benefits of snow for tracking. I’ve certainly also heard a few reported sightings recently and as you say it would be nice to know a little more about this and how much of a recovery the otter populations may be making in the area.
